It is with great reluctance and much pain that I have to bring under your notice certain unfounded statements made by the new Attorney General, Mr J. Chistolm Anstey reflecting most seriously upon my character and for which he has declined to make me any apology.
On the 13th of last month I had the honour to be present at a dinner given by His Excellency Governor Sir John Bowring & Admiral Sir Michael Seymour.
